Branding and packaging for instant cofee and compliments. The logotype was planned to communicate in a simple fashion cofee solubility and how it blends nicely. Some extra elements were made as props to illustrate how branding may extend to additional packaging (tetra-packs, bags, etc.)
Branding and packaging for pseudo-futuristic food, packed as liquid in aluminum. The type was treated to be bold and juicy, yet experimental at the same time. The color pallete is playful and vibrant, to make a slight reference to the ingredientes.
Branding for a nice and cozy, home-style restaurant called "El Huerto de los Olivos" (referencing the Getsemani Olive Field, in Jerusalem). The proyect involved a deep investigation on symbols, type and imagery related to mediterranean feelings and proto-christian tradition. Also depicted some initail explorations and related imagery. Collaboration with über-progressive PiojerMeister.

This are a few book covers made during an exercise in my Art Direction Class. Paadín, a foreign (Spain) teacher leaded the class and specifically this exercise, in which he asked us to craft some covers based on the Marber Grid, designed by Romek Marber for Penguin Pocket Books. The logo is used here for educational purposes, and some of the images come from various sources such as Flickr.
This ones happened earlie on the semester; Paadín asked us for some posters, with a few limitants, to make people travel to another country (Cuba and USA, in my case). The first poster says 'cube' + 'a', the second suggest USA through the American Airlines logo (this one had to be only type), and the last one (requested as a bit more poetical and abstract) uses the timbals as background image, and the type arrangement is based on old vynils from Tito Puente, famous cuban timbal player.
This is a non-commercial work, made to play a bit with Sentinel, which I consider a truly lovable and usable type. Some stock vectors were used to create the fictional logos on the bottom. The information, by the way is completely non-sense and randomly generated.
